Vijaya Dasaru blessed Mohanadasaru – Mohana Daasaru’s father expired without distributing his property to his children. Even though he had good properties, Mohana Daasa could not get anything. He was starving for food for a very long time. They found it very difficult to survive without sufficient food and clothing. His mother tried to commit suicide near Nava Vrundavana on the banks of the River Tungabhadra. Vijayadasaru happened to visit that place at the same time, seeing the lady trying to jump to the river, he stopped her, brought them to his house, gave them food, clothing, shelter. Mohan dasaru grown with the blessings of Vijaya Dasaru as if he is his son. Vijayadasaru used to say , “In strength of devotion none to beat Bhaganna (Sri Gopaladasaru) in proper sayings Mohanna (Sri Mohana Dasaru) and in strength of writings Thimanna. ” Such was the appreciation Sri Mohana Dasaru had from his guru as well as mentor/father.

Charama Shloka Meaning of Mohana Daasaru – Mohana Daasaru is free from “Mamakaara”, (AhaMkaara), he is fearless, he was faar from Sorrow, he was not seeing any difference between any Precious Metals and Stone (i.e., Gold, Silver and other jewellery were equal to ordinary stone for him). We shall pray and do namana to Mohana daasaru so that he can carry us to lotus feet of Srimannaraayana.
