This great saint is the third ponitiff of Sripadaraja Mutt. Sri Padmanabha theertha karapjotha Lakshmidhara varaputhrakaha. He travelled right across the Bharatha kanda, to the land of Kashmir, with latitude 37, to fight Kashmir Saivism, and attained Brindavan at Srinagar. He is the guardian saint of our country protecting our border and ensuring victory for us at Kargil. His power of AKARSHANA, is so great that his monastic name is SAKARSHANA , and not Sankarshana. He blessed that SPRM should continue in Srirangam temple and his successor Parasurama theertha, attained brindavan on the banks of Chandra Pushkarini.Adirajaru and Sathyavrataru attained brindavan near consort Ranganayaki sanctum. Swarnavarnaru just outside in south chitrai street. Srirangam was a true Madhva tradition temple with these four pontiffs and Sripadarajaru, consolidating it. Just as Tirumala was worshipped for 14 years by Vyasarajaru and Simhachalam by Narahari theerthalu, SPRM did have hereditary rights in the temple, where VIRAJA river is flowing underneath. Not for nothing the four saints of SPRM were buried in the temple. The foundation for such a mission was laid by Sakarshanaru, the contemporary (senior?)of Teekarayaru, and the soldier saint of Madhva.
