His real name is Parashurama Tirtharu. He was regularly doing Srihari Chintane and was busy with japa tapa. As such, his body was shining like gold. That is why he was called as Swarnavarna Tirtharu.
He helped the kings in solving the problems faced by them
Once he went to see Sri Purushottama Tirtharu, the mathadipathi of Abboor Matha in a pallakki. On his way, he saw a 8 years old boy who was grazing the cows. Swrnavarna Tirtharu asked the boy as to “How long is the distance to Abboor”. The boy replied “See the western side, see sun, see us, the cows are returning home. U can know how long is the distance.” Even though boy didn’t tell the exact distance to Abboor, the way the boy answered impressed the swamiji. The reply was an indication that the Abboor was not far way.
Swamiji met Sri Purushottama Tirtharu and enquired the swamiji about the boy. The boy was none other than Sri Lakshminarayana Muni who took the ashrama from Swarnavarna Tirtharu and later got the title Sripadarajaru.
He is the seventh pontiff after Srimadacharyaru.
